Chocolate Peppermint Shot (REAL Ingredients!)

A smooth, minty, chocolate shot! Can be made into a drink also, see note below!

No bottled peppermint mixers, or fake colors either! You are going to love this recipe because it is so chocolatey and pepperminty but made with natural ingredients!

You Need

Method

    • Combine the cacao powder with 1 tablespoon of warm water. Whisk to combine, until there are no lumps.
    • In a mason jar with lid or cocktail shaker add all ingredients. Shake to combine. 
    • Add ice, and shake vigorously. 
    • This makes about 4-5 small shots.
    Peppermint flavor is not the same thing as peppermint extract. Flavorings, (vanilla flavor, peppermint flavor, etc) have artificial ingredients and additives. Pure extracts are pure. Peppermint extract contains only peppermint, and alcohol.

Note

To make this into a drink instead of a shot, double all ingredients except for the alcohol. Serve in a tall glass with lots of ice!
